Does anyone know where to send Adcom gear for a decent price? There is an interruption somewhere between the input and output of the pre. With the volume all the way up, there is barely any sound. Maybe problems with the IC?

thanks

I know it sounds dumb, but first make sure that the Pre In/Out's have the jumpers in them. I used to work for Adcom and that was the most common problem for your symptom. If you need it repaired (like mine, too), I'm going to have to trust the new Adcom ownership to fix it. All the old techs are long gone, but you might be able to get the former service manager to fix it on the side. He's Pete Hendicks and is at KEF (the old Adcom building). Luck!
