My Yamaha 2500 receiver and Denon 4800 DVD player will not play the main speakers on multi channel for DVDA discs. I've changed the cables to no avail. Could this be something in the set-up or is my receiver/DVD player damaged? Worked just fine when I set it up then the mains quit working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably either have a cable plugged incorrectly into the output jacks or you have shut off the speakers in the set up menu.
