Our California cable system dropped all FM stations and then, after an uproar in this hilly county, put 30 back up Ñ on its digital service. Those of us who used to split the cable and plug it into our tuners are bewildered. I upgraded to digital service after FM was dropped. FM now comes out of TV speakers on Channels 260-290, but the TV is at one end of the house and the stereo is at the other. Is there any way to use the existing coax to feed the "new" digital signal to the analog stereo components? Is there such a thing as an inline DAC that costs less than chucking all this and signing up for Sirius Ñ or shall I stream stations directly to the stereo off the internet? Thanks for any advice! |
