I am torn in between this two receivers, I will appreciate any input as to which one is best in your opinion. I will be use it for music 70% and 30% for movies.
Have infinity tower speakers
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sonically both will go well with your Infinity's. I prefer the Elite for it's better power supply, warm sonics and overall elegance. The Elite also has i-link while the 900 does not. The Onkyo has net connections while the Elite does not. Which feature is more important to you? I would answer this question first and if you don't intend to use the net connect feature go with the Elite. You won't regret it.

The Onkyo says it will handle 4 ohm speakers, but you have to set it to do so in the on-screen menu. Does anyone know if this will yeild good sound. Some people say to do the settings; others say not to....what do the ecoustic gurus say?
