What's a good speaker pairing with the Marantz sr5300??

Looking for bookshelf size with good quality sound for music. Also used for DVD movies. Want to spend in $500-750CAD price range.

Currently using 15 year old Jamo SL150s.

Heard the Energy Connoisseur C-3 Bookshelf is good.
