I've heard these particular NHTs coupled to a NAD, HK 325 or is it 525???, and the Outlaw Audio 950/7100 and they sound amazing. cheers |

Thanks for the feedback Berny. One more question, is this a better deal than the similarly priced athena micro's? |

mazie: That is a GREAT deal! I have the Power 8 sub and it is very good for the money. The NHTs are FAR BETTER than the Athena Micras, which do not have anywhere near the frequency extension nor the imaging capabilities of the NHTs. Heck, five SuperZeros are better than the Micras. Many of these makers of these super small speakers would have you believe they are just as good as a bigger speaker, but you can't change the law of physics. A 3" mid-woofer cannot move as much air as a 6"--it is just that simple. Get the NHTs. An NAD 743 is a great receiver to match with the NHTs. I believe Kiefs offers it for $560 (www.kiefs.com). Good luck! |
