K....this sounds like it should be really easy but for some reason it's not working. I have a turntable (SL-1200 Technics) plugged into a Numark mixer into a Pioneer DSX-D609 and also a philips 778 CD recorder/Player plugged into the Pioneer. What i'm trying to do is record vinyl onto CD and it's not working. I have the mixer plugged into the Pioneer and it won't let me record vinyl onto CD. Grrrrrr. I suspect it's purely a connection issue, something is hooked up wrong somewhere. Lots of thanks in advance. |

Plug the Numark output directly into the CD recorder input. Otherwise, check your in and out connections to your receiver. |

Mike, maybe you need to read instructions more closely. |

Thanks all..I have *no idea* how this ended up in the "tuners" section. And Jan, no where in the instructions of the Philips 778 recorder does it cover recording vinyl to CD, assuming that's what you meant. |

I had a Philips recorder not that long ago and there were instructions included in my owner's manual. They were not overly generous but they were there.

Try looking for something akin to "analog sources" in the OM. |
