I have a portable jvc cd/tape player. The player was bumped hard while in the trunk of my car and ever since, the speakers have a constant static buzzing noise. The speakers buzz when in CD mode and no cd is playing as well. I know it isn't a bad speaker because all the speakers buzz. Any ideas of what to replace would be appreciated.

It is probably not the player but a ground that loosened during the bump. Retighten the ground and make sure that there is bare metal contact.

Are we talking about a stand alone portable cd player or something that you connect to your car?
