i just got a amp from a pawn shop the amp is a vortex 1500watts VX2750 and i connect it all up right and every thing but when i go to use it the protection light comes on and the power light dose not ive tried every thing changed all the fuses dose any one know what could be happinging ive hitched up to my budz cars changed amps and stuff and it does the same thing someone please help email me at Nick_tuttle1289@msn.com

Sounds like it's toast. This is the home audio forum btw, you might have more luck in car audio.
