Quick question. With the Outlaw 990 Preamp DVI connection, do I need to have a tv and dvd player with DVI inputs/outputs? And can the Outlaw 990 be used if the tv and dvd player only has HDMI interface? Thanks Dixlon |

D, The 990 is just a DVI switcher, no On-Screen info injected, you should be able to use DVI-D cables to the DVI equipment or a DVI to HDMI cable if wanting to connect to HDMI equipment. If you cannot find an DVI-HDMI cable I believe Outlaw sells those as well. Hope that helps. |

Or you can connect your dvd players HDMI directly to your HDTV. What you should do depends on how many HDMI and DVI inputs are on the back of your HDTV. There are companies that make extra DVI and/or HDMI inputs for the back of your HDTV. That way if you only have one HDMI input on the HDTV, you can still connect your broadcast/cable/satellite tv to your receiver and then to the HDTV. It also depends on how important switching is to you.
