This is a little bit more than your budget, but I think worth it http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/cbm170/cbm170.html Or these ones http://www.axiomaudio.com/m3ti_main.html |

I second the Ascend 170s suggestion but if you don't want to get a subwoofer I'd look at these: http://www.audioadvisor.com/store/productdetail.asp?sku=ATHASB2%2E2&product_name =Audition%20B2%2E2%20Speakers%20-%20Black,%20Pair |

Ok enough....seriously, you might want to consider a pair of Monitor Audio's Bronze B2. http://www2.shopping.com/xGS-monitor_audio_bronze_b2~NS-1~linkin_id-3068595 |

btw, the Axioms and Ascends are only available through the internet, no way to audition them unless you order them, true that you have 30 days to return them if you are not satisfied, however, I am not sure that they would ship to Mexico. Besides both seem to be pretty over-rated but of course owners of these will strongly disagree they say: "These speakers are soo good they beat some that are three times the price!" omg...lol Ths spendors S3/5se are just incredible, they cost a litte over $1000.00 but I guess the ascends can compete with them...lol |

NAD says i should use only 8 ohms, Would the Epos 4 ohms damage the amp if i use it only at low level?

Plenty of amps that say 8 ohms only are perfectly capable of running a 4 ohm load. In fact, NAD is particularly well known for being able to handle such loads. However, I would follow the manufacturer's advice in the matter before something bad does happen. |

If it were any other NAD amp besides the L40 I'd say 4 ohms won't be a problem but a DVD/receiver compact combo like that would worry me...definitely ask NAD directly. |
