A little help here. I have a Sony STR-DA2ES reciever and im'm wondering can I add a 2 channel power amp to this reciever to drive my Polk RTi-10s. The amp I'm considering is a vintage Sony 330ES power amp (300wpc), but my main question is will I still be able to enjoy surround sound even though my front speakers are being driven through another amplifier???

yes you will still be able to enjoy surround sound. It is all a matter of how you calibrate the ht. It is not going to be overbearingly loud just because you put power amps up front, just more and effecient.
