My request to the NAD support.
Suggestions for the next firmware upgrade of the T163, T763 and T773:
(1.) Have the subwoofer work in Stereo mode when "Front speakers" are selected as "LARGE". Even my old T761 had this function!!
(2.) Added PLIIx capability.
Answer from the NAD support:
Thank you for your recent request via the NAD Electronics web-site. I spoke with technical services regarding your questions, and here is their comments on your suggestions:
#1 The next software release has this function; it is in beta testing at the moment.
#2 We are currently investigating the possibility of upgrading the T763/T773 to support DPLIIx in the future. PLIIx code is waiting Dolby approval for the Cirrus DSP. If it becomes possible to do so, the unit will have to upgraded at an authorized NAD service center.
