I'm looking to buy a speaker set to hook up to a onkyo sr500 o sr600. I haven't bought anything yet. What speakers would you suggest if I want to go a step above the onkyo ht500 and stay under $500? What subs do you suggest to go with the speakers?

I think the JBL system: N24 satelites, N center, and PB-10 subwoofer is excellent sounding in this price range. Buy thru Bizrate.com or Jandr.com and you can get these 6 speakers for below $500. Great for movies and music.
