Ugh!
Just put together my dream HT system and it's giving me trouble.
I have a Sunfire amp with a Parasound AVC2500 preamp. The preamp has shut down three times today for no apparent reason.
Has anyone had similar problems? |

Hi,
I had a similar problem a while ago. The AVC2500 was not really shuttig down, it kind of locked itself and then started new. This did not happen with analog sources, only with dolby digital and ofter dts.
I found the power supply in our old home to be rather unstable. Using a filter (HMS Energia, german product) solved the problem. In our new home, it works just fine even without the filter.
