Thread: Is using a NAD 743 w/ Speaker Craft in-walls overkill? |

My 14 year old Yamaha integrated A/V amp that I use to power my Speaker Craft in-walls (8 in round in ceiling) is dying. I want a quality no-frills A/V receiver and my research has put the NAD 743 at the top of my list. The Yamaha RX-V640 is a very distance 2nd. The Yamaha is dirt cheap though ($325 shipped) so I'm just wondering if spending $400 more on the NAD will yield me better sound given the speakers hooked up to it. |
