Hello here,
I have just bought a new home and there is an already built-in ceiling speaker system in any room, the system appears to work but there's not an amplifier and I need to buy a new one to connect it to the system. I don't know if I need a specific amplifier for a such system or I can use any normal amplifier.

Any idea is very welcome.

It depends on the number of speakers in the system and how they are distributed through the system. Is there a selector switch for the various speakers, individual volume controls or any transformers in the speaker system?
