I have a friend who has a PSB 5.1 speaker setup except for the rears. He is using the system mainly to listen to multichannel(SACD)discs. He wants to replace the surround speakers with some Axiom QS8s. He is not sure how they will match up with his PSBs. Should he stay with PSB all around or will the QS8s match up well with his PSB 5ts/8C? |

It would be preferable to stick with PSB. |

For movies it isn't too important, but for music they should be matched as closely as possible. |

I disagree, unless you want an effect to sound like it changes pitch in transition from front to rear. |
