I am a newbie to this forum and have a question.
I have a new to me 1977 Marantz 2235b receiver that I got on Ebay. Everything is almost great. Tuner is exceptional, cd player sounds fine. When I turn the volume up on phono the lights wig out and sound goes to some weird thump thump thump noise. Only on phono. I can crank up the tuner and cd as loud as I please. Phono wigs at about half volume. Also I get snap crackle and pop when Aux is on, which I use for my TV. Any ideas???
