I have aleady bouhgt a NAD320 BEE and a Nad C521 BEE for myfice, romm about 13 bty 16 ft
I want low level listening with as much detail as pssible and the most controled bass posibble, not discotheque kind of bass, rather hi end kind
My options are:
Totem Dreamcatcher
Wharfedale Diamond8.2
B&W 601
What would you recomend regardless of the price, (all very similar)

good luck with that. Definitely stick with small bookshelf speakers whatever you do. I wouldnt chance risking 'real' speakers. Stick with the little ones. |

Paul, your comments are getting tiring.
It's obvious to anybody who regularly reads this forum that Anonymous who originially posted and yourself are looking for very different things out of their system.
While I believe the above system will not offer the same theatre impact as yours you remain blind to the obvious fact that the little "boutique" systems such as tubes paired with tight bookshelfs offer a completely different experience in musical playback.

Guys, Paul missed out on two whole weeks of trolling this forum while he was on vacation, it's obvious he's just making up for the lost time...all that lost love and attention he normally gets from us, poor thing.

Well I have been inside a recording studio and the Alesis monitor ones, had a clean good sound on them, that went plenty, loud enough for me,
Would I buy some, you ask me the answer would indeed be yes, good buy in those tight spaces where performance comes to the listener.

my church uses these things in a PA system...lol
the alesis has a good clean sound that surprisingly can fill a decent sized room. |
