Hello board
I have the opportunity to get either one of these two amplifiers.
The Marantz woul be brand new and the Denon used (second handed from a friend)
I plan to run it with a pair of Definitive Technology BP6 speakers....
My type of music is pop, rock, alternative and metal.

Ed,
The Marantz is a better match with the Def/Techs. They are a forward sounding speaker and match well with the Marantz's warm sound. The Denon is too bright sounding with the Def/Techs.
Nice sounding speaker line, by the way. |
