I plan to upgrade my fronts soon, which will leave me with an extra pair of speakers. They're old school Mission 733's; outdated but I refuse to get rid of them. My question is, if I re-wire them internally (larger wire, better connections), as well as upgrading the crossover network (the stock one is embarassingly cheap) and reinforce and sound dampen the inside of the speakers, do you think the difference will be noticable? The drivers are less than a year old, so I figure they are worthy of a project. Also, where would I find inductors, resistors, and capacitors of a high grade without ordering over the net? Thanks for any ideas....

I have JBL Creature II computer speakers and subwoofer. My kids have broken the subwoofer. How can I hook up computer speakers to an extra home subwoofer that I have? It is a JBL PB10 sub.
