I have a Polk CSI-5 that I just got. Every once in a while it will make a popping sound. I notice it most when playing X-BOX, Halo 2. Is the driver bad or am I under powered? |

I have the same issue. I have tried several receivers and still heard it. I don't think it a power issue because I heard it with a 75 watt and a 100 watt receiver. I have someone checking onit with Polk for me. |

Halo 2 pops for everyone, it's not the speaker. IMO the voices don't get fully directed to the headset when playing Live. Are there other instances? |

My center channel speaker was popping once, and when I checked my speakerwire, I learned that one of the connections had come loose. Also, make sure your wires arent crossed. |

Kano- Thanks for the insight and I do believe you are correct since it doesn't seem to happen any other time except on Halo 2. Paul - That was the first thing that I checked when it started. Thanks |
