Hey gang, my NAD unit is making a ticking noise when I turn it on. I load the CD into the tray and it loads but ticks and wont play the cd and then says "No Disc". Any idea what the problem is and is it now ready for a expensive repair.

Hi Russ...I just had the EXACT SAME problem with a brand new NAD C521BEE. The place I purchased it from, Saturday Audio is in the process of sending me a new replacement.

You may want to call and talk to a NAD service person. I'll bet if they're honest they'll tell you that they know of the problem and give you an idea of the repair cost if it's not still under warranty.
