Wondered if there are any decks out there, preferably Sony, that will play the newer Hi MD format discs. I can't seeem to find any.
My deck, JE-640 can recognize this format(reads out Hi MD) but can't play it, so the format have been close to release when this deck was made.

But Onkyo MD-133 can read any kind of MD but has no digital output or USB connectors. So it's impossible to make CDs via a CD Recorder starting from a live recording on MD.
