If anyone's interested, you can buy your H/K AVR online line at Target; right along with matched MTX, Jensen and Advent speakers:

Personally, I would run next door and pick up the 12 AWG cables from Home Depot. This much I did.

Denon did the same thing a ways back at Wallyworld before they were bought out by Ripplewood.

Who'd a thunk it.

That's Harman as in Kardon. My sun burn is getting to me.

Geez, for an online-only "discount" dealer their prices suck: $1500 for a DPR 2005? Ha!

Yes, but you get the cute pit bull; what's its name?

H/K's dealers' got to love it.

When I got home, did a DBT on the Home Depot 12 vs. 14 gauge. Could not tell the difference.

However, the DBT was quite stressful. Looking at the mortgage, kid's braces and AVR repair bills sobered me up quick.

Really, the DBT became quite easy afterall.
