Hi, I bought a pioneer reciever and i have got 2 360 watt speaker and i was wondering if i could use them on my 120x5 watt amp (580watt max) Would the speakers wear out my amp or not? |

The Watt rating is not very important here. What is the impedence of the speakers? (4, 6 or 8 ohms) If 8 ohms, no problem. Lower? Might be a problem for the receiver. |

The Speaker are 8 ohms Why would it be a problem if they where lower? and Stof they a 15 inch sub with a tweeter at the top, they are my old dj speakers |

Nothing wrong with lower Ohms if you receiver can handle it. It should be stated in the documentation or right around the speakers themselves.
