cambridge 540A w/PSB image B25 speakers
what cd player in the 300-400USD range.
i tend to favor a 5 cd player but could be convinced
otherwise
considering
integra cdc 3.4
cambridge 540c
marantz 5400
denon 380
a similar sony 5cd player
not sure how important the HDCD thing is but wouldnt mind being able to play MP3 discs
please advise with those above or any other thoughts.

NAD C521BEE, if you can spring for a little more the NAD C542 would be worth it. Having heard them I would not recommend any of the players you have listed. I would stay away from the changers. |

Music hall is a good one, as are the NAD suggestions by Art. These are better than your other considerations.
