Hi All,

I have a JVC RX-778v (slightly older model) and I'm trying to play my IPod through this receiver. I have a headphone-type jack to RCA wire which i connecting the IPod to my CD Audio RCA-in jack on the back of my receiver and I get no sound. As a test, I hooked up an actual CD component to this CD Audio jack on the receiver and my CDs played fine. Hooking the Ipod back up to this same CD Audio RCA-in gives no sound? I tried other in connections but no sound (e.g. DVD-in, DBS/TV-in, etc). This receiver was givento me by a friend and is in great shape but I dont have the manual for it, but this is not rocket science. I have a Sony receiver in my main TV room and my Ipod works fine playing through there.

I can believe the receiver is broken....any ideas?
