Bookshelf speakers always have a special place for me with their detail and timing and are great for softer lower volume music. A floorstander is a great piece to add to a higher power system but choosing one you like is very difficult since there are so many great models out there right now. An electrostatic was never a favorite of mine but for softer more classical types of music, they are unbeatable. Each has its own particular character that really remains the listeners choice. |
