I have a room, 14x24, that needs speakers. Are there any other good speakers at that (northridge) price range, and what type of reciever would work well with that, and are there any other things that would be relevant to making it a quality speaker system? Thanks |

I have the larger bookshelves for a HT system paired with a denon amp for movies and I like it alot. A little to "bright" for music but perfect for the kind of movies I enjoy. I will say that I totally revamped the fronts though (soldered larger wire to and from the crossover and covered the inside with anti-resonance material) and they sound much better. They JBL's get knocked alot by audiophiles but I think they are perfect for a budget HT system. |
