No competition, the Cambridge will sound better and be a better match for your system. |

Whether the Cambridge will sound better or worse than the Marantz is for you to decide, but the Marantz has some reliability issues

well thanks fellow posters! i think you helped me
choose the player i wanted in the first place
(the AZUR)just needed some + reinforcement.
i have to buy an audio rack first but then the AZUR 540C is "mine all mine"
