Hi,

Sorry, noob to the audio scene. Please help if you can.

I have a sony STR-AV920 and need to know what the max wattage is @ 8ohms and @6 ohms, I dont wanna blow my infinity reference EL's(6ohm 75w Max speakers).

To sum it up it says in the manual below...
Dynamic Power Output : 8ohms @ 1khz IHF = 140 + 140 watts
and
Dynamic Power Output : 6ohms @ 1khz IHF = 190 + 190 watts

The specs from sony are here (Page 38)
http://www.docs.sony.com/release/STRAV1020.PDF

Any help would be greatly appreciated. From what I think right now, it is 140 watts per channel and will kill the speaker?

Thanks!
