Athena speakers, HK avr 635 receiver

looking for a 5 disc cd changer. Looking at
the Denon DCM 380. Any thoughts on this cd player? Any other choices to recommend? Thanks.

I've owned a DCM-370 for four years and have been generally happy with it. I believe the 380 isn't much different. Does it have to be a changer? I also own a NAD C521i (single player) which is noticeably better than the Denon for the same money ( but no HDCD decoding ). If you can go with a single player, I would recommend the NAD C521BEE..great unit for the money. Otherwise, I think the Denon is a fine choice if you absolutely need a changer or are interested in HDCD.

You can get the 370 on ebay often - if you are not sure that the 380 is as good (which I am not).
