The AVR-1803 is a great receiver. I love Denon gear. Also, you might want to look for the Denon AVR-883 which is the same as the 1803, but features a 1-year warranty instead of a 2-year warranty. The 1803 will run you $499 (U.S. $$) from your local retailer. While the AVR-883 can be purchased for $327.00 + realistic (cheap) shipping fees at the following site: http://www.nxgen.com I've purchased from this company before and was quite happy with their service. |

I had bought DENON AVR-1803 45 days ago. It is performing very good. Try Hifi buys or their net hifibuys.com; you might see it for less than $499. But, they offer you two months price gurantee. You can consider Kenwood 6070 too. It has Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES and THX for $499 at bestbuy and on their website. It has got best features for this price. I'm not sure about the performance. |
