My pioneer vsx-d912 reciever stopped working one day and the standby light was blinking. It cost $80 to reset the microprocessor inside. Now a, couple of days later, the light is blinking again and doesn't work. Do you know how I could reset the microprocessor by myself?
Thanks

I also have the 912, but I've never had that problem, though they do mention it in the manual and they actually say to take it to an authorized repair shop. However, have you tried resetting the unit? Actually, I guess you can't do that because you have to be able to turn it on to reset it. If it's doing it again 2 days after you got it fixed, I take it back to the same place you got it from and see if they warranty their labor. Whatever they did obviously did not fix it and they need to try to do something else.
Good luck.
