They look dodgy,

Though, JBL is King of the world with west cost sound and a legacy going back to the first motion picture soundtrack the “Talkie” the Jazz singer 1927

Plus I have been using JBL now for 16 years fantastic.

looks like some cheapo's to me...

I wouldn't exactly call JBL's king of the world with anything.

If you're looking for a good sat/sub systems, check out the klipsch synergy series, the athena micra 6, mirage nanosats, and some of the paradigm line. all have great imaging, excellent dynamic range, and don't cost you your soul...
