Have been running the JBL 4645 now for 7 years and d this is one hell of a performer that takes charge of sub bass and LFE with class of spectacular, results from the first time and every time, this is a true THX reference cinema sub bass, with a tuff pedigree.

With the height that I have ever had her at was 120dbc with a film called “Final Approach” that SR-71 black bird and its after burner test was something, though the film was only on VHS and note sure for sure when it’s going to get a DVD release sometime soon .

As for the THX wow demo playing up to 116dbc and the TEX THX-EX demo hitting close to 120dbc I was tempted to take it there but seeing I get very little distortion in fact very, very dame low distortion levels, see do not see the need to take her there any more just running her at a modest 105dbc to 110dbc is ample, and I’m happy I choose JBL it is sound power.

hear is some information on herhttp://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.jmgkorea.com/image/cinemasol ution/4645c.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.jmgkorea.com/page/cinema%2520solution/4645c .htm&h=218&w=153&sz=11&tbnid=1wlwjnONwDMJ:&tbnh=101&tbnw=71&hl=en&start=3&prev=/ images%3Fq%3Djbl%2B4645%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN

Also I have replaced the sub bass driver with a newer JBL 2241H information http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.8thstreet.com/images/2241.jp g&imgrefurl=http://www.8thstreet.com/prod.cfm/3180&h=104&w=174&sz=10&tbnid=ZNLxe gU97rAJ:&tbnh=56&tbnw=94&hl=en&start=11&prev=/images%3Fq%3Djbl%2B2241%26hl%3Den% 26lr%3D

Why thank you Paul.

And she is spot on for pop music Madonna, Jean Michel Jarre.

And film score music like James Horner titanic dts digital surround, classical music like Holst the planets.

As I’m typing this just warming up to some classic fm music on http://www.classicfm.com/index.cfm?nodeId=1324&cset=1&sw=1024

Easy for listening too and enriching with power of the universe as timeless, as a Swiss clock and as look behind me seeing the JBL 4645 standing by to unleash all hell, at my command.

Paul

That’s nice and your son posing as a good model for SVS sub bass units shows scale and size to, do you think I can get a photo opportunity with him standing next to my JBL 4645 THX sub bass standing 3ft 6in.

Still can’t get over that size does matter, http://www.formfunctionemotion.net/mt-static/images/yoda.jpg
You must feel the SVS all around you hear, the tree the rock and the ship too.

What am I saying, no JBL I’m not under rating the JBL 4645.
