Hi,

I've got a CS505-3 turntable which I bought from new years ago. Generally I am very happy with it. However it has always played slow and I can't get the turnatable to spin quickly enough, even with the pitch control on max. I've got used to the sound but I'd like to get it to the correct speed. I've checked it's slow using both the strobe disc and also a synchronous CD vs LP test.

Is this a simple thing to fix?

Have you tried a new belt for the table?
