Both are said to be lovely players, Arcam was 900$ back in 1998, and NAD is 380$ new.
Have you heard both and do you have any suggestions?
My system is Arcam Diva A65+,
Arcam Alpha 9p power amp
B&W CDM 1 SE
VDH CS122/ D102 mk3
Thanks

Marko

Are you talking Alpha 8 or 8SE? Big difference in players! If 8SE, then I would take that, if only an 8, then it's a more difficult choice.

Regards,
Frank.

Frank,
I am talking about Arcam Alpha 8 (not SE) CD player.
My dilemma is:
I have Arcam Aplha 9p power amp and need integrated to bi-amp.

I can get used Arcam Alpha 8r amp and Alpha 8 CD player for 750$.

Also I can get NEW Arcam Diva A65+ with NAD c542 for 820$.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? AND WHAT WOULD SOUND BETTER?
Thanks Again
