Hi folks,
Just bought the Rotel last month, played it continuosly for a week. Set up has Rotel RA 1062 connected with Van den hul Cs122, Mission M52 with Straightwire Quartet cable-small room.
Can't figure why bass and warmth is missing and the sound is waay too bright on most Cds? Would Dynaudio Audience 42 be a good match?
Thanks in advance.

Why dont you try room treatments if possible. It makes the biggest difference over any other componet in the system. No matter what componet you buy if the room has a reeflective quality then the system will bounce the sound allover the place creating a brighter effect.

I find it amazing when I walk into places with several thousand dollars in gear and not a single room treatment is to be found. ALL rooms need some sort of treatment.
