I have my turntable connected to my receiver. I have rec out to my line in on my pc but I cannot adj the rec level. The vu meters are at full blast from the turntable input while I'm testing the rec level. So far the only theory I have is that "the line-out on your receiver is a fixed output that exceeds your sound cards rated input". I've since connected my turntable to my mixer the to the line in with no problem. But shouldn't I be able to connect it via the receiver as well. Thanks
