Hi there, This may be a dumb question but... I have a pair of bookshelves I want to use as rears that have a maximum power handling as 80Watts but the Receiver I have's outputs are 75W RMS, so I would not have any issues with the setup of the two correct? Thanks. DuckmanX |

none whatsoever. Simple universal rule though: as you turn up the volume, as soon as you start hearing distortion that's a signal to back off. Usually what happens is people keep cranking it up and then end up damaging the speakers. |

Excellent. I want to use them as my rears, should I connect them to the front outputs just to see their limits until cracking or should I break them in first? |

I probably wouldn't bother, rears only do maybe 10% of HT work anyways, they are really an afterthought unless you do multi-channel music with dvd-a/sacd. |
