Is it me or did they stop making woofers some time ago? I was poking around on Ebay and it seems that any driver that isn't a tweeter or midrange is now a subwoofer. This goes for drivers smaller than 4" too. Hmm,.. Maybe I'm just too old (or not brain damaged enough) and should just start listening to big band and Sinatra on a "Victrola" because I remember the days when people first started talking about and building subwoofers and they were expected to work only in the range below 60Hz or so. I'll pass on this chance to brag about my "subs" but I usually have the crossover set to 80Hz at 6dB.
