I would like to get some new speakers and was wondering if this would be a good combination. I already got the Marantz sr6200 but im looking into buying the Paradigm reference studio 40's.

The 40's would sound better with seperates or an integrated amp. If your doing home theater and want to start with a receiver I do understand and the Marantz should do a fine job. You won't be able to extract the best from the 40's but you will likely still enjoy them. If you won't be upgrading your electronics soon, you may want to save the money and look at Paradigm Monitor Series or B&W 600 Series speakers.
