yamaha amp, how much for new outputs, and how much roughly should it cost to have someone else fix, or is it easy to do for a novice.

You'll have to inquire at a supply house for the actual cost of parts. To have someone else fix the amp will cost whatever is required. There may have been other parts damaged when the outputs were blown. Unless you have the test equipment to trace all the problems and do realignment and biasing of the parts, the job should be left to a technician.
