Good day, first post.
I'm looking for a quality sounding mini system for my daughter, but am looking for one with an alarm clock capability. I like the idea of the Tivoli three, but combined with the CD and all, it bumps up to $500, and I'm not prepared to spend that (by a long shot). I've been looking for some sort of search engine/buying guide that allows me to select features and return a list of systems that meet that criteria, but haven't found anything like that either.
Suggestions?

This one received the pros recommendation at wwwhifichoice.co.uk
Comes with nice Europian speakers - they are worth $239 by them selves.
This one has clock function you are looking for.
Looks classy as well.
You can't get much better than this for that money.
I would buy refurbished - I heard that they are more reliable than new, since they are tested before shipping, unlike new ones.
Might want to upgrade the speaker cable for better sound.
Good music is supposed to enhance intellectual development - you heard of the Mozart effect. You might want to give her mozart CDs too.
