OK, I know that Onkyo A/V receivers have the unfortunate habit of losing their sound for no apparent reason. I've got a DS484 that has lost MOST of its sound, but not all. On CDs, I still get a static-y backbeat from the drum track and a tiny bit of static-y sound from some of the other instruments. DVDs, radio, etc., get no sound at all. Is this just another symptom of the same problem that causes Onkyos to lose their sound entirely? Or is it something different?
