Let me make certain I understand the question correcly. Do you want to set up a system with a home theater utilizing 5.1 and then run additional speakers in other locations totalling another 3 to 5 pairs of remote speakers? Or do you want a stereo system with only two speakers and then run the additional 3 to 5 pairs of speakers in remote locations?

You'll need a speaker distribution block or selector box. Look through the Niles site linked below. http://www.nilesaudio.com/products/speakerselectors.html Here's another site with other manufacturers. http://www.hififorless.com/categories.php?categoryid=640&d=2&src=10 Hook up is simple. Two speakers wires from your amp feed the "Amp In" connectors on the box. Then each pair of speakers gets hooked up to its own set of connectors. How you configure this depends on how many pairs of speakers you have. |
