Hi, I've just inherited my friends Dual 505 & I'm needing a spot of advice as he can't help. Essentially, what do the 2 adjustable dials DO at the tone arm pivot-point (gimble, I think it's called?!?): 1: There's a dial in the shape of a clock-face with 2 graduated scales that you can turn a pointer to by using a small wheel found on the side of the dial. 2: There's also a small 'knob', for want of a better description, beside the tone-arm counterweight. My friend has never known what they are so he's as much use as a wax cooker (but he gave me the turntable for free, bless him!). Any tips & pointers MUCH appreciated & all thank you's in advance. |
